BMW Had a Great Year in 2013

BMW is no doubt proud to have finished 2013 off right with a growth in sales and new records set. At your local BMW dealership, we're thrilled that car buyers chose BMW vehicles. This shows more and more drivers want to experience owning the Ultimate Driving Machine. You need a car that you can depend on, a car that will thrill you on the road and surround you with luxury like the legendary 2014 BMW 3 Series or the all-new 2014 BMW X5 series

The BMW Group in the U.S. reported December sales of 43,981 vehicles, an increase of 0.3 percent from the 43,855 vehicles sold in the same month a year ago. At the end of 2013, the BMW Group sales are up 8.1 percent on sales of 375,782 compared to 347,583 in 2012, a new record for the BMW Group U.S! For the year of 2013, the BMW brand is up 9.9 percent in 2013 on sales of 309,280 compared to 281,460 sold in 2012. BMW sales of 309,280 in 2013 smashed the previous record set in pre-recession 2007 (293,795). In December 2013, the bestselling vehicles included the 2014 BMW 3 Series and 2014 BMW 4 Series, up 55.8 percent to 16,737 units and the 2014 BMW 1 series up 37.3 percent to 1,039.

In December, sales of BMW vehicles including Certified Pre-Owned and pre-owned increased 12 percent to a record 18,743 vehicles compared to the 16,728 vehicles sold in December, 2012. For 2013, BMW used vehicle sales are up 10.8 percent on volume of 182,219 compared to 164,524 in the same period of 2012. This is good news for BMW cars owners looking to sell their BMW vehicle and upgrade to a new one because it shows there is growing demand for used BMW vehicles.

This makes our Michigan BMW dealer excited for 2014 with new models scheduled to debut this year and sponsorship of Team USA by BMW at the Winter Olympics.
